Fit to be Canadian? The Recreation Industrial Complex in Canada: Recreation is often described as a public good, open to all. Yet, Canada's public recreation system has never been as inclusive as that story suggests. This module offers a historical (re)reading of the system's core elements. It traces the forces that built and maintained it, and it challenges calls to return to an imagined "golden age" of inclusion.
