Women & Girls in Sport Webinar for the Calgary & Okotoks Community
Canadian Women & Sport invites you to take part in a special three-part webinar series in fall 2025 designed to help sport leaders—including coaches, recreation leaders, teachers, referees, and administrators—integrate equitable and inclusive practices that attract and retain more women and girls in sport.
This initiative is deeply personal to us. It is inspired by the leadership and legacy of Dr. Sandip Lalli, a passionate advocate for advancing women and girls in sport and a dedicated former Board Chair at Canadian Women & Sport.
Why This Matters
Sandip’s story highlights the transformative power of sport. A business leader, wife, mother, and late-in-life athlete, she credited basketball with shaping her confidence and success. A chance encounter with a coach in junior high ignited her passion for empowering women and girls through sport. To honour her legacy, Canadian Women & Sport is pleased to offer this free webinar series to help Calgary & Okotoks sport organizations create more inclusive, welcoming spaces for women and girls.
