1. Background/Introduction

InMotion Network (INM), operating since 1992 and formally incorporated in 1995, inspires and enables Alberta women and girls of all ages and abilities to engage in sport and physical activity. We are wholeheartedly dedicated to promoting and advocating for gender equity in sport and physical activity. INM is the only sport and physical activity organization In Alberta dedicated exclusively to the needs of girls and women of all ages. Our mandate extends beyond participation and focuses on the need for women’s leadership in sport as coaches and educators.

2. Project Goals and Scope of Services

InMotion Network is seeking the services of an individual or company to redevelop the association website.  The website was created in 2010 and is sorely in need of a redevelopment in order to be better able to integrate social media followers, host video and provide public as well as secure login areas for Board Members and members of the association.  Preference will be given to qualified, responsible and responsive Edmonton based supplier offering best value and professional capability.

Tasks include but may not be limited to the following criteria:

4. Proposal Submission

All submissions must be provided in in the following manner:

  • Submission and digital portfolio shall be presented by email clearly marked “RFP: WEBSITE SERVICES” and sent to the email address noted above

5. Timeline

All work shall be completed for the new website launch no later than 15 August 2019

6. Elements of Proposal

A submission must, at a minimum, include the following elements:

• Description of the firm that includes a general overview, names and credentials of creative team, number of full-time employees, if applicable.

• A one-page narrative outlining the firm’s strengths and distinguishing skills or capabilities as they might relate to InMotion Network.

• A representative selection of website development, website maintenance manuals, or training/aids provided to other organizations, response time commitment for issue resolution

7. Evaluation Criteria

The successful respondent will:

• Have been operating continuously as a website developer for a minimum of 12 months and possess full-service, in-house capabilities for creative services, production, media placement, direct response and research.

• The education, experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications of the firm and the individuals who will be available to provide these services.

• The competitive cost of services.

• The expertise of the firm in working with similar customers.

8. Possible Roadblocks

At this time, InMotion Network currently has potential of custom coding and an outdated Content Management System on our website, of which bidders should be aware.
